One sunny morning as I lay half asleep in my bed the sun shone right at my face. On top of my head was my pillow. I remember thinking to myself
Oh, yes of course! Here I lie with my one true uniform hat!
That morning I slept until noon. While I dozed I was very aware of my uniform hat. I made sure it was in its proper place, right on top of my head. In my dreams, the hat was an essential part of the progress of the dream. Because if I tossed or turned in bed and the hat didn‘t stay on top of my head, I would stop dreaming.
